The Cable Guy Bay of Plenty franchise is owned and operated by Simon Morrison and covers the areas of; Bay Of Plenty, Waihi, Tepuna, Tauranga, Papamoa, Whakatane, Rotorua and surrounding areas.
Simon joined The Cable Guy in 2006 and was one of the first Cable Guy franchisees. His drive to become part of The Cable Guy was sparked by to a passion for home technology; Simon is a self confessed “audio visual perfectionist”. Simon has built his team to a total of three consisting of himself, Brett, an ex Electrican from the UK and Ben who left school to pursue his interest in consumer electronics.
The Cable Guy Bay of Plenty has years of experience in home technology and provides technological solutions for homeowners in the areas of home entertainment, lighting control, home automation, blind and curtain control, alarm systems, surveillance and access control solutions, and communications including TV aerial cabling, networks, phone and intercom systems.

The Cable Guy Bay of Plenty supports the community with sponsorship and are keen supporters of Waterski Racing New Zealand and Bay of Plenty Kartracing. Not only do Simon and team support local events, they also support local home shows. Simon is a regular annual exhibitor at both the Bay of Plenty Times Home Show as well as the Home & Garden Spring Exhibition at Baypark Stadium held this year, 4-6 September 2009. Simon’s home show displays include a live home theatre environment where visitors are able to experience the best in home technology that they can see, feel and touch. Definitely a stand worth visiting if you are looking at building, renovating or upgrading your home technology.
